We have just arrived in India to explore the beautiful textiles and products from Bandhini Welcome aboard.
Bandhini said – we work with beauty we are surrounded by beauty – come with us and join in our experience ‘Bandhini through our eyes.’
<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vFchJ5cboXg&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vFchJ5cboXg&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
At Bandhini the simplicity of Eastern ways are embraced and they have strived to keep their products hand crafted and hand detailed – without the use of heavy petrol based machinery. Where at all possible they use natural fibres that are handwoven and use vat dyes that do not make a hard impact on the environment. Bandhini would like to think that all their products would gently return to earth.
It is such an incredible blessing to do something you love. In these tough times, to be happy in your work is very important. They have been very lucky to partner with a fantastic team in India for nearly two decades; Sweety the saintly talent and Mithoo, the mover of mountains whom they love dearly and consider to be part of their family.
visit our online shop by clicking on the links below to see some of Bandhini products for sale and introduce some of their beauty to your surroundings.

I hope the rest of your week is filled with love, and blessings Lili x

All Aboard the Boho Express this week we are exploring our newest Traveller Ruby Star
http://spacesplaces.com.au/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=20&product_id=222
Welcome aboard the Boho Express today, I hope Easter has been full of blessings and I trust you will enjoy your ride across India with some beautiful craftmanship from our newest Traveller Ruby Star.
Ruby Star Traders is Australia's best loved importer of Indian textiles, furniture and homewares.
Karin Gardiner, Ruby Star Traders' owner and founder, has been travelling to India since 1996 and personally selects only those products which satisfy her discerning eye.
Karin collaborates on product ranges exclusively for Ruby Star Traders, applying traditional Indian crafts to create her signature look that is both bohemian and contemporary.
Where possible, Ruby Star Traders purchases from the traditional craft regions in India, where their products are produced by craftsmen working in traditional workshops. Purchasing in this way not only helps local craftsmen keep their skills alive, but it also helps create a steady source of income for families in these regions.
I hope you have enjoyed your journey with us through the beautiful pieces of Ruby Star and I look forward to featuring more of their unique and so very Boho Express pieces throughout the next week.
Bye for now and don't forget to be in touch with any questions. Blessings Lili x
